On April 30th, the first Technology Day organized by V-Research, Techsoft and EVO-Tech was held in Campus V. The prospective customers were able to gain information about 3D printing, solutions to shorten the product development time, improved concept development and reuse of design information.
The company EVO-tech introduced their new 3D printer, Techsoft presented the new CAD software PTC Creo 3.0 and V-Research showed, using references to a project mandated from the company Liebherr, how a significant cost reduction and a time of up to 90 percent can be achieved through the automation of the design process of inspection assemblies of maritime cranes.
Dr. Vaheh Khachatouri, V-Research’s managing director: "We focus ourselves on research and development and we also always analyze the potential of different technologies. With this Technology Day, we wanted to offer visitors the opportunity to learn about new developments and trends, and offer them a competitive lead and added value."
More than 70 visitors took advantage of this possibility and were enthusiastic about the first Technology Day in Dornbirn.
